NOW HIRING: MARKETING ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Assistant to join our boutique marketing agency. As a marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' marketing efforts by providing exceptional copywriting skills and efficient social media content scheduling. Your ability to craft engaging and persuasive content, coupled with your strong organizational skills, will contribute to the success of our clients' marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
1. Copywriting:
- Create compelling and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, advertisements, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with our internal team to understand their brand voice, target audience, and marketing goals.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date content.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
2. Social Media Content Scheduling:
- Develop and implement social media content strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Craft engaging and eye-catching social media posts, captions, and hashtags.
- Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content at optimal times, ensuring consistent presence and visibility.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community to foster positive brand interactions.
3. Administrative Support:
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing email correspondence, organizing digital files, and maintaining project calendars.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments for clients and internal team members.
- Provide timely and accurate updates on project progress and deliverables to clients and management.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content creator, or social media manager.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English, with exceptional copywriting and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research is a plus.

Compensation is $20 hourly, starting at an estimated 10 hours per week (40 hours per month) to begin. This position will begin with an IC contract, and there is potential to grow into a full-hire position as the Marketing Assistant gets established in the team. This is primarily a remote position. Weekly in-person check-in meetings are required and our content studio in downtown Apex is open and available for use!
